It’s hard to overstate how much of a success EA has had with its first major IP, The Sims, and how important it has been to the success of the company’s other properties.
While SimCity is one of the best-selling titles on Steam, it’s also the reason EA is the only game company to have ever made it to number one on the game store and, most importantly, it is the reason why its biggest franchises are the ones that have stayed with players for the longest.
While EA has released a number of sequels and spinoffs since then, including a third SimCity game, The Crew, and a third game in the series, The Last of Us, it remains the game that sets EA apart from its competitors.
But what does the future hold for EA’s other major franchises?
To answer this question, Polygon spoke with EA senior vice president of marketing and sales Tom O’Brien about how SimCity, The Order: 1886, and the rest of the EA family are shaping up in the coming years.
What are some of the things you’re looking to accomplish with The Sims and The Order?
The Sims is a franchise that has been around since the dawn of time.
It’s been around for many generations and we have a history that’s very long and deep, and that’s something we’ve always tried to do.
We wanted to build something that’s a reflection of our culture and our values.
It is what it is.
We want it to be a place that celebrates our people and our families.
We wanted to make sure that it was a place where everyone feels welcome, but also a place for people to come together and build a community.
The Order is a game that celebrates people who are different, and there’s an emphasis on diversity.
You can find different ways to celebrate it, but one of them is to create a place with a strong focus on diversity and inclusion.
It also allows you to create the sort of community you want in your game.
What do you see as the biggest changes coming for The Sims in the next few years?
In The Sims 4, there’s a big emphasis on the Sims, a big focus on the family, and we want the Sims to be the focal point of your life.
So that was one of our big goals.
We also want to be more of a family-friendly game.
The other big change was we made sure that The Order was more of an inclusive game.
So now, The Sims can come in and take a role in The Order, and you can also do things with The Order to create your own little communities and communities that people can come together in.
So there are more of those types of things going on.
We’ve also made a big push on The Order.
We’re looking at ways to make The Order more welcoming to people.
There’s a new mechanic called Community Play, which is where you can invite friends, or people you meet on The Sims.
We think that’s going to be really helpful for people who like playing with friends or people who want to connect with friends in The Sims but they’re also playing outside of The Sims or they don’t know anyone in The Sim or there’s not a lot of people in The City.
That’s going into the future.
And the last big change is that we’re bringing the Sims into the world of the Order, so we’re going to bring the Sims right into The Order and have them interact with people.
So the Order has a lot more interaction with people in the real world than it did before.
We made sure there’s more social interaction.
You have a lot fewer Sims on The City and there are fewer Sims in The World.
You will be able to interact with more people in real life, so that means more Sims in your world.
What’s your take on how The Sims is evolving into a more inclusive game?
We’ve seen a lot change in the Sims.
A lot of it has to do with people not knowing that they can interact with other people in ways that they don´t have in The Place, and The Sims has never been a place to interact.
We have a new community feature where you have a community that is not only based around The Sims that you have in your family, but you can actually play games with friends.
We added this new community thing where you could have a friend come in, and play a game with you, and they can come and go.
It was a really important feature that we wanted to do and we’ve been working on it since The Sims 2, so it’s really cool.
The Sims will have a place in The Universe, which means it will be more inclusive.
What kind of changes are you looking to make in The Last Of Us?
In the next three to four years, we want to make a game about being the Last of the Last, which has been one of my favorite things about The Sims to play.
